1. About Our Services

Austin Digitizing provides custom digital services, including:

  • Embroidery digitizing
  • Vector artwork conversion
  • Patch artwork (embroidery, PVC, leather, woven, bullion, chenille)
  • Logo designing
  • Image cleanup & colour separation
  • Artwork redraw & modification

All our deliverables are digital files only. No physical products are shipped.

2. Ordering & Payment Policy

2.1 Payment Requirements

  • Payment is required before starting the order, unless special arrangements are approved.
  • For large or complex orders, partial or full advance payment may be required.
  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe, PayPal, or other approved processors.
  • We do not store your full credit card details.

2.2 Pricing

Pricing varies based on the complexity of the design, required formats, and turnaround.
Rush fees may apply for urgent orders.

2.3 Fraud Prevention

If a transaction is flagged as high-risk by Stripe, we may:

  • Request identity verification
  • Refuse or cancel the order
  • Delay delivery until the payment clears

Unjustified chargebacks will be disputed with evidence, including delivery logs and communication history.

3. Turnaround Time & Delivery

3.1 Standard Delivery

  • Most orders are delivered within 12–24 hours.
  • Rush orders may be completed in 2–6 hours, depending on availability.

3.2 Complex Orders

Large jacket back designs, multi-layer patch artwork, or detailed vector projects may require additional time.
We will notify you of the estimated completion time before starting.

3.3 Delivery Method

All files are delivered digitally via:

  • Email
  • Secure download link
  • Customer dashboard (if enabled)

Delivery is considered complete once files are sent to the email you provided.

4. Revisions & Edits

4.1 Free Revisions

We offer free minor corrections if the delivered file does not match your original instructions.

Examples of free edits:

  • Size adjustments
  • Small corrections
  • Minor pathing changes
  • Cleanup of errors caused by us

4.2 Paid Revisions

You may be charged extra if:

  • You change instructions after delivery
  • You request new elements not in the original order
  • You send updated artwork after work has begun
  • The design requires new digitizing or vectorization
  • You request stylistic changes unrelated to technical errors

4.3 Revision Timeline

Revisions are handled as a priority and usually completed within 2–12 hours, depending on complexity.

5. Intellectual Property & Licensing

5.1 Client Ownership

  • You confirm that you own the rights to any artwork, logo, or design you submit.
  • You agree not to upload copyrighted content without permission.

5.2 Our Deliverables

Upon full payment:

  • You receive a non-exclusive license to use the delivered digital files for your business or production.
  • Austin Digitizing retains ownership of the digitizing techniques, stitch methodology, and vector construction used to produce the file (industry standard).

5.3 Prohibited Use

You may NOT:

  • Sell our digitized file as a standalone digital product
  • Resell vector or artwork files without modification
  • Claim our digitizing or vector work as your own method
  • Use the delivered files for illegal or copyrighted misuse

Violation may result in termination of services.

6. Refund Policy

Refunds follow our separate Refund Policy page.
Key points:

  • Refund requests must be made within 10 days of delivery
  • Refunds require valid proof (errors, mismatches, unusable files)
  • Revisions must be attempted before refunds
  • Stripe and bank processing fees may not be refundable
  • Custom digital files are not eligible for refunds if the instructions were followed correctly

7. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate instructions
  • Giving correct spelling, size, colors, and details
  • Reviewing samples and approvals promptly
  • Informing us of any deadline in advance
  • Ensuring your email can receive our files (check spam/junk)

Austin Digitizing is not responsible for errors due to missing or incorrect customer information.

8. Disclaimer of Guarantees

Austin Digitizing does not guarantee:

  • That results on your machine, fabric, thread, or printer will match previews exactly
  • That colors will print or stitch perfectly due to variations in equipment
  • That files will be error-free if third-party modification has been done
  • Compatibility with outdated, unsupported, or malfunctioning equipment

We provide files optimized for professional industry standards.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Austin Digitizing’s total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We are not responsible for production errors caused by:
    • Machine tension
    • Fabric behavior
    • Thread or needle issues
    • Operator mistakes
    • Printing/engraving variations
    • Miscommunication or missing instructions

You agree that our responsibility is limited strictly to the digital file delivered.

10. Termination of Service

We may suspend or terminate services if:

  • Fraudulent or unauthorized payments occur
  • Abuse, harassment, threats, or inappropriate behavior is displayed
  • Repeated chargebacks or disputes are filed
  • Terms of use are violated

All outstanding payments remain due upon termination.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of:
